Norfolk Island Plan

The Norfolk Island Plan sets out new zoning schemes for the Island and procedures for making applications for development and for processing development applications for each of those zones. Hard copies of the Norfolk Island Plan (cost $17.00) are available from the Planning and Environment, and Registry offices of the Administration

Development Control Plans

Development control plans support the Norfolk Island Plan and provide the criteria for assessing such applications. Hard copies of the Development Control Plans (cost between $0.80 and $2.00) are available from the Planning and Environment, and Registry offices of the Administration

Heritage Register

The Heritage Register identifies properties and sites on Norfolk Island that are considered, following an extensive consultation process, to be of heritage significance. Listing on the Register facilitates the protection of these properties and sites as provided by the Heritage Act 2002 and the Norfolk Island Plan 2002.
